I co-founded Applifting with Vráťa Kalenda in 2014. It started as a garage project and grew into a software studio in Prague and London that builds banking, identity and AI products — Bank iD and Skoala among them.
Today I work as a product and solution architect and help run the company. Now and then I teach at ČVUT.
Work done in the open, by people who can see the numbers and say no. Companies where profit is a tool, not the goal. Partnerships where being good to work with matters more than the size of the invoice.
At Applifting we built that in: everyone sees everyone’s rates, every new project goes to a vote, and an elected council of elders keeps the founders and C-level honest. It isn’t always comfortable. That’s how I know it works.
My favourite Czech verb means polishing something past the point of reason, until it stops being a deliverable and becomes an experience.
